Globally, 1 in 3 women have experienced physical or sexual violence at some point in their lives. As an artist, I wanted to contribute to raising awareness on this topic. 

Flowers are often given as a symbol of appreciation and love, but sometimes the same people who give flowers are unaware of the prevalence of violence against women, or they may be the perpetrators of such violence themselves. Therefore I used flowers as a metaphor in this project.
